Hailing from the underground scene of Bucharest, Alex117 started tattooing when he was only 17. Self taught artist, he is interested in art styles like abstract, realism,  and blackwork, drawing inspiration from music, visual art and mostly life itself. He likes to start with a client's idea for, as he says, "art comes from life experiences and is fueled by emotions, my desire is to untangle the intricate human mind, to get to the core of what made it come up with the tattoo idea. ''I listen to the story and then I let it develop on the skin", and works with his and his client's ideas.
